Mental Health Clinician

Anahit (Ani) Asatrian-Londner, MA is a mental health clinician at Doria Therapeutic Group, PLLC, specializing in trauma-informed care, child and family therapy, and culturally responsive counseling. She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and is currently completing a second Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA. Her clinical foundation is deeply influenced by her identity as a first-generation American and descendant of genocide survivors, shaping a therapeutic approach rooted in resilience, history, and empathy.

Ani works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Her integrative style draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered techniques, and trauma-informed practices. She is committed to creating a warm, collaborative space where clients feel supported in exploring their stories, building emotional insight, and achieving meaningful goals.

Ani brings a wide range of experience from working with survivors of violence at Harlem Hospital to designing school-based programs focused on emotional literacy, bullying prevention, and family engagement. She has facilitated IEP and 504 meetings, supported neurodiverse learners, and advocated for families across clinical and academic settings. She also holds certification in Yale University’s RULER emotional intelligence approach and continues to pursue ongoing professional development and mentorship.

Outside of her clinical work, Ani values time in nature, yoga, and being a mother. She finds strength and grounding in her Armenian cultural roots and aspires to build a private practice centered on trauma recovery, intergenerational healing, and family wellness.
