MiAmor’s clinical style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practice. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, and trauma-informed care, while also emphasizing a strengths-based and culturally responsive perspective that honors each client’s unique story. As a bilingual clinician fluent in Spanish and English, she is committed to ensuring therapy is accessible, inclusive, and meaningful across diverse communities.

In addition to her private practice work, MiAmor serves as a Family Development Coach with HANAC, where she supports immigrant and adult learners in areas such as education, employment, immigration assistance, and access to health services. This community-based role enriches her clinical perspective, deepening her understanding of the systemic and personal challenges her clients face.

Currently completing her Psy.D. dissertation on Group Attachment-Based Intervention (GABI), MiAmor is passionate about bridging research with practice and expanding innovative, community-focused models of care. Outside of her professional roles, she values cultural traditions, staying active, and time with family, all of which ground her belief that healing happens not only within individuals, but also within relationships and communities.
